the whole world needs to take a deep breath, let go and do it anyway. there is judge in in arizona, that worked her way thru graduate school and law school working at a strip club, when she was asked about her prevoius occupation, her only responce was, "find a man that can lie to me now." religion is I believe a help on a moral compass.
But let me ask you this. if a woman that works there is in the right, not being loose, but has a child and needs to make ends meet, is it right for you to tell her no. if the power goes out and she is voilated by someone unknown to her, is she guilty of it or are you. the lines blur, but you do to each man, woman or child as s/he would do to you. plus, your workin g for acompany that really doesn't care so much about who gets hurt in their further progression otherwise. so what if high power lines cause cancer in kids and make pregnant women have miscarriages. the are over 200 cases on the books still being tried today. if you really wanna give a care, then the everyday life and judge if you can do good or bad in your actions. don't let a religion judge for you, cause as far as i know, strip clubs were never in the bible, it's readers that make the rules. but no you have legal recourse in this matter. depending on your supervisor he may put someone one else on teh job. At any rate i don't remember any strip clubs in the bible, so again your looking at the morality of man. all i know is that if one person is hurt by your action of not doing, then you put that person in that scene. if the married man sees a girl and gets a lap dance because he saw a girl he wouldn't have seen if you were there, then that is all you. you gotta kinda pick your battles.

Well if your religion is not for the sort of bare fleshed women then it would of course not be the sort of thing of to go to.
However you can have your own opinions on your religion and not follow everything commanded by.

It may though mostly have have an affect on your work,if you refuse to go when asking your boss, it can affect your job. But they should respect your religion and agree for you not to work there. If they say otherwise, best make a complaint about it.

Its up to you mostly, but the club is just a building. Your there for the job, not for the women right. So I would personally see no harm.

I've known three people who have done this kinda thing. Two of the girls remained entirely loyal to their bfs while pursuing their college education. The support of their bf was very important in this. The third got involved in drugs. The money sounds right per night in tips, but just make sure you are comfortable with doing things such as lap dances (and perhaps more of if your boyfriend is ok with doing that) or else this isn't the place for you. Obviously the assumption gets made here too that you very attractive. If not, then you won't make as much in tips as others but it could still be worthwhile. You have to have complete support from your bf. Make sure it's more then just a "its fine", but also what he considers sexual and what you consider sexual. Would he freak if you were doing a lap dance with a 22 year old man who was very muscular and attractive? You will be in that situation with this job, so discuss what his reactions would be to that kind of thing, first. Lap dances are where most of this money comes from.

I would talk to your boss and tell him that you are really uncomfortable going there and would like him/her to have someone else go to that location. Your boss may be able to accomodate you. If not, then go to HR and explain the situation to them, they might be able to help where your boss wouldnot. Be ware though that if you go over your boss's head it might make him/her angry that you did that and he/she may take it out on you in other ways.
Good Luck whith the whole thing.

It may be difficult.
Suppoe you were Jewish and you had to do a job in a Muslim Mosque. Would you refuse?
Like it or not, these are customers of your employer, and they deserve service. remember, they are paying for it,

Just tell them you don't want to go work in a place that profits off of women's naked bodies and you think the place is trashy.

Not based on religion, but tell your boss that you object based on "moral issues", and perhaps talk to your HR rep. (man, I'd love to trade places with you!!).

You can refuse to go in. That's about it.
Tell someone how you feel.
I don't blame you but please be careful if you value your job.
