The boat needs work on the floor. It needs seats, a gas tank and some work will need to be done with the steering and shifters. It is a classic and could look awesome if it was restored. The motor runs well.

I don't think you could call a 1960 Bell Boy a classic. I think the late 60's vintage in the 17-21 range were the real popular boats along with Sabrecraft at least in the Puget Sound area. Put it this way. If you get the boat for free and do a decent restoration yourself the end result will be worth less than what you paid. But that is not the point if it is a labour of love.

This be hard to say. I guess I would not pay over $300-500. The main thing will be what it cost to restore. If, you do the work yourself it will help. I like the old boats and it a fun hobby if you can keep costs down.

I just saw one for sale on Craigslist in San Francisco. I believe they were asking $500 for the boat, trailer and a non-running outboard motor.
