Please, is there any old movie buffs that could help me find the name to this, and who starred in it? I have tried for years.
The parts I remember is that a pilot or an astronaut somehow gets this living goo on his arm. I believe the goo gets on him in the air or out in space and I think he crashes because of it. Doctors remove it and a scientist takes it to the laboratory he has in his home and puts it in a large glass container. He has a young daughter who he tells to stay out of the lab. He experiments on the goo and discovers that electricity (I think it was) makes the thing grow and stopping the electric makes it shrink. He invites a bunch of men (fellow scientists?) over and shows them what he found out. He leaves the lab with the guys and forgets to shut off the juice to the goo container, and you see it getting larger and larger. The movie was similar to "The Blob". Thank you.

...sounds very much kinda sorta, in a roundabout way, somewhat like the obscure 1959 blob-like horror entry, "Caltiki, the Immortal Monster"...
