"There's Hope" by India.Arie. The reason it relates to my life, and probably a lot of other people's, is that during your life, there are going to be tribulations that get you down. You are going to feel hopeless and like there will never be light at the end of the tunnel. You will reach your lowest point, and that will be when you think you've reached a dead end in life. Lately, I've been kind of down, and India.Arie speaks to me. I play this song on my stereo in my room sometimes and cry, because I'm really listening to the words and I want to apply them to my life. The chorus is telling you there's hope, and that it doesn't cost a thing to smile, which is so true. A smile can brighten up the most adverse moments in life.

I am kinda old fashioned but i would have to say it would be Kelly Clarkson's Because of you. It is such a sad song about her life as a child and it really gets to me to see how bad some parents treat their children and how lucky i am that my parents are not divorced and are not jerks unlike others!
