i am a size 16 and costumes don't fit me either so what i do is make coustumes one year i was miss usa and i got a long piece of a fat ribbon, and letters and made a sash, got a crown and a nice inexpencive dress. another year i was a hula girl this year i am going to be someone from the 80s

she could be a ghost, a pirate, aclown, a police officer all shot up ( a friend of mine is a police officer and he put the fake bullets on his face, it was really cool. We pulled into a gas station and some body got him to scare the living day lights out of his kids in the car, it was great). Take something simple and run with it.

How about a Hogwarts student? You can get an old black robe put a yellow/gold cardboard crest on the chest and give her a branch for a wand. You could also throw in a pointy wizard's hat.
