Because its alot easier for people to think everything is ok than actually think something like that could happen....well does happen.

This is the definition of conspiracy:
conspiracy (plural: conspiracies)
act of working in secret to obtain some goal, usually understood with negative connotations.
(law) an agreement between two or more persons to break the law at some time in the future.
a plot to overthrow a government or other powers
conspiracy- the ability to have the material means and a motive to commit an act against the law
a group of ravens
there is a huge difference between a conspiracy and probable cause. Yes I understand that some thing are questionable and that's it, people are looking for answers that scientifically don't make sense, like the 9/11 conspiracy, it had been revised twice, because theorist cant seem to prove anything that they have found. Thousands of people watched live news feed on the towers and clearly saw a plane fly into a building. How can you debunk that? The JFK assination is a conspiracy.
The reason why people rull out conspiacies is because they are not backed up by science one bit.

What conspiracy are you talking about specifically.
Of course people conspire. But they do not on the levels and numbers that it would take to pull off the 9/11 conspiracy theories. Do you realize how many people, and countries would have to be able to keep a secret to pull off the already disproven conspiracy theories regarding 9/11?

Some conspiracies, like JFK and 9/11 are acceptable by some and not acceptable to others. Cases like Enron are more clear and precise and are more widely accepted by majority of people.

booman has it right in his answer.
Some conspiracies are plausible on a number levels. A few guys huddle and concoct a scheme, which is then outed by one of them to get a lighter sentence once the whole thing is uncovered.
But some "conspiracies", like the ludicrous and laughable 9-11, require such "epic" levels of secrecy involving thousands and thousands of people doing all sorts of complex secret things---it's just absurd.

Conspiracy - (my personal definition)
A way for kooks to sell their CD's, books, websites. A money making organization. Make a movie, get on talk shows, sell T-shirts & buttons, and make fools of everyone that believe your lies.
