There is a test to place you in the right class once you get to college. They don't make you prove how much you know in order to get admitted, though. The fact that you took 3 years will be enough for that.

If you are a Junior now, there is no way you took 3 years of Spanish in high school. That would leave you taking 2 years of spanish in either 9th or 10th grade.

Your transcript will reflect all the courses that you have taken. If you take Spanish 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6, it will be on your transcript. If you only take 1-3, THAT will show in your transcript.

Be aware, though, that most colleges are requiring a proficieny in a foreign language...usually 1 year of college study, or 2 years of high school study. Don't drop out of Spanish after Spanish 3, because you will have to start all over again when you get into college.

You don't have to "prove" you took three years of spanish. They will get your high school transcripts when you apply to college and it will show that.
When I went to the University of California (great school; go bruins!!) we had to take one semester of a foreign language. If you don't like Spanish, stop and when you get to college take one semester of another latin based language (easier to learn given your spanish) - I recommend French - and they may not even have that requirement anymore (though if you go on line you should be able to find out) - I was there from 1980 - 1984 - best education, best teachers, awesome school.

Three years is sufficient...so long as you got a C or better in your last year, you won't be required to take more language in college (unless, of course, it is a big element of your specific major). Still, if you have the chance to take a fourth year of spanish, do it. The more work you're doing, the better it's going to look.

yea 3 years is good enough, Just to let you know the required 3 years have nothing to do with learning spanish, they re just their to see how well you can study and stuff so u will most likely never have to prove that u know it or anything

3 years should be sufficient for a U.C.
