What are some things that are fun to do there?
Do they take kindly to foreigners? I'm fluent in Russian myself. Would this make people feel more comfortable around me?

Russia is huge and has so many amazing places. It has a tropical climate for example at the south part of Russia Sochi. Very beautiful historical places Moscow, St Petersburg and many other places in Central Russia.

Russia is a beautiful place to visit especially Moscow. And dont worry about people not liking foreingners. Russians a very, very nice. Visit the Moscow castle. Very nice.

It is a nice place to visit. In my opinion most beautiful places in Russia are Baikal lake and Kamtchatka.

Yes, its an excellent place to visit as a tourist, especially since you can speak that language. They are kind to foreign visitors and you can expect a warm welcome.
