Why do you think America is #1?
I'm a bit burnt out on America. I'm white but I grew up overseas. Try to talk me out of getting a Thai Passport.

America is far from #1, it is a decaying society that has reached its zenith of power, and will go the way of superpowers throughout history.
I am not saying that Americans are a bad people, only that power is cyclical, and yours is waning, in might, and in stature.

I am a North American, born in the USA and have lived here all my life. I really dislike when a lot of people from this country like to say "We're #1, We're #1. with a bloated attitude of self aggrandizement that they are better than any other country or people in this world. On the other hand, you will find that a lot of people from the states are friendly, kind, and quick to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs it regardless of their ethnic background or race. I've seen again and again that when the chips are down, you can depend upon help from the USA. So it's really a mixed bag. As far as your getting a passport to Thailand, this is your decision to make. You can read all the answers here, but in the end, you have to listen to your own voice within.

By all means get a Thai passport. We already have enough people who hate the United States. I dont think we need another one. And good luck to you.

The US is by facts Number one in:
A) Garbage - 60% of the worlds garbage
B) Clear Cutting Forests - at a rate higher then Brazil
C) Use of non renewable fossil fuel - 65% (15 Million barrels) daily, of the worlds production
D) National Debt - higher then that of the rest of the world combined
E) Military spending - a staggering 1 Trillion a year, double as much as all other 221 countries in the world combined
F) 53% of all lawyers in the world are home in the USA
G) Biggest costumer for Haluzinogens - Drugs

United states of America is not #1. but I preffer to live here than to live at some other part of world. like any country we have many problem, society is not perfect, neither goverment, but none of our earth goverment are, none of societies on earth are perfect.
