when I am laying (or lying, maybe?) on my deathbed, I'll think back through the years and remember this question, and tears will probably come to my eyes, and I'll tell all the retirement home staff about it, and they'll listen politely while thinking to themselves, 'what a loon', but they'll never know. they will never know how much this question amazes me.
