I've been married for 8 years, and a mom for 6 years, and it's taken a while to get the hang of it. I'm not sure where you are in the process, that would be helpful to know.
As far as the cooking goes, go to some online recipe websites, such as www.allrecipes.com, www.epicurious.com, www.foodnetwork.com, etc. Most recipe websites allow you to search by ingredient, type of food, etc. Pick out a couple of recipes, and just start trying! I still don't LOVE to cook, but with practice, I've become a fairly good cook.
With the parenting, I can say that I was really worried before I had children about how I was going to rank as a mom. I didn't feel very maternal naturally, but after I had my own children, something really changed! I know it sounds like a cliche, but it really is true that you would throw yourself in front of a train to save your child!
If you already have children, start attending play groups through your community or church. This is a great way to meet other moms and to get advice if you have questions about different parts of parenting. Overall, don't worry too much! We've all been there, and you will become a pro in no time!

Sweet Pea a book or a manual can't give you any advice but trying from scratch can. See no one person can really say what you should or shouldn't do as a wife and a mom, it will come to you naturally. I got married at 18 years old fresh out of high school. I didn't know how to wash a load of clothes, but after trying and failing and trying some more and failing some more I got the hang of it. That is how I learned to be a successful wife and mother by trying and failing and then succeeding in the end. I have been married for 9 years now and I am still learning some things. Know one thing, you will make mistakes, that is the only way you will learn how to do it the right way. It takes time and patience. Good luck!

Being a housewife basically means you set a schedule for when you dust, vacuum and do laundry. With cooking, there are many web sites that you can get easy recipes from, you can buy a Betty Crocker Cook Book. Relax it's not that hard.
As far as being a mom (if you're not an instant mom--step-mom) it comes natural for most people and even then you end up asking questions. Once again, relax.
Your husband married (or you will be getting married) with this knowledge and that means he loves you for you.
Don't sweat the small stuff.

who says you need to play the role of a housewife? Don't you share house stuff with your partner, at least, to some extent?
Just do what you do - its not like you were hired to do a job. Be yourself and enjoy life. All the other stuff will just fall into place. If you burn dinner, big deal. Just do take out that night and learn from your mistakes. Cooking is fun and allows alot of experimentation when you get the basics down.
Just try new things and see what works and you'll figure it all out.

As far as being a mom, that comes naturally. You can find out what other people do with their children but it's really what you feel comfortable doing that makes you your child's mom. Cooking isn't so hard if you can read the directions on the box. Relax, it's not as hard as you make it sound.

I hope you are good at reading.
I would suggest finding the "Hints from Helouise" books... perhaps at a local used bookstore... lots of cookbooks there, too.
Planned Parenthood can direct you to parenting courses.
Low-cost cooking courses? I found a bunch on Meetup.com
Another possibility... find a mentor... where is your grandmother?
