It shouldn't be, "Look to the right" It should be, "Look to the left". Which means, if you look to the left of those keys, you will get the answer. I.E. u=y, p=o, i=u. Which ever letter it says, the real letter is to the left of that key. Hope I've helped. :)

At first glance it looks like straight letter substitution, with 'y' substituting for 't' (it's the last letter in piy, or out, and the first in yjr, or the. U substitutes for 'y' (upi - you)
Working with those letters you should get
p=o
l=u
y=t
j=h
r=e
u=y
p=o
i=u
j=h
s=a
b=v

and so on
The difference between this one and many other substitution codes is that this one is random. Often a substitution code will start with something like m=a, n=b, o=c and just shifts the alphabet over a number of letters, but the sequencing remains the same. In this case, the letter assignment is random, which makes it a little more difficult to crack. But the easiest words to break are the short ones. A three letter word always contains a vowel, and very few of them (you is the main exception) end with a vowel, so you know the first or second letters will be a vowel. If you have a couple of three letter words to play with you can quickly figure out what the vowels are and that gives you a way to unlock some of the longer words.

"Upi jsbr gohitrf piy yjr vpfr/
Vpmhtsfi;syopmd@"

Translates to: "You have figured out the code. Congradulations!"

To figure it out, look at the keyboard on your computer and shift your fingers to the let one space. If you simply shift one key to the left you will solve the code. Specifically, to the left of the letter U is Y. That is the first letter of the sentence. Continue this for all the letters.

Look at your keyboard. For every different letter, the one that the code states is the key next to it. See?
