Like, if I am a size 30, could I wear a mens 30 and it fit in the waist? Or, even though it is a "30", does that mean different things to different brands? 30 to me sounds like inches around, no matter the brand. Am i wrong? Thanks!

HELL NO! A women's size 30 is mega huge, like you would have to go to a specialty store to get that size. Usually, normal store only go up to 22 so what does that tell you. On the other hand, a men's 30 in relatively small. Men go by inches around the waist... women go buy something totally different. To find ur size in men's clothes measure your waist in inches. Round up and that's ur size.

Womens pants have curves and come in every rise you could think of. womens pants can be measured in inches too people! So if your talking 30 inches in the waist its around a size ten in womens jeans.(style and fit change the sizes dramatically) but if your talking about a size 30? you'll need to find like a 50 inch waist in pants ( around there, its not for sure) i found mens pants uncomfortable. but its just me. i would try them on if i were you. also when i tried the mens jeans on i was actually a few inches smaller becuase of the way i am curved

For your information a men's size 30 is a ladies size 8. So you sound tiny and why do you want to know that?
