For example, 0.08% I have no idea where to start so any help is appreciated.

1. Move the decimal place 2 spots over to the left, using extra zeroes if needed.
2. Drop the percent sign.

0.08% = 0.0008

Notice that 100% = 1.00, which makes sense (100% of something is one whole of that something).

Percent means "of 100" so you divide by 100. Or just move the decimal point 2 places to the left one space for each zero in 100 so the answer is .0008 To convert decimal to percent, do the opposite and move the point to the right twice one space for each zero in 100. So .25 is 25%

move the decimal 2 places to the left. .08% = .0008 and .8%=.008 and 8% = .08
