my internet has a very very weak signal all the time around open wireless networks like on my college campus, and the library..i cant even pick up the signal anymore at my house at all, or even see other peoples signals...however, i pick up a signal when i wake up and right b4 i sleep...what do you think the problem is? it just started happening! will applecare cover it?

If it is a faulty airport extreme card in your mac then apple care should cover it. I would take your mac into an apple store and talk to someone at the genius bar about it. Try calling up the nearest mac store and seeing if you need an appointment. Unfortunately computer parts do go bad after a while but a airport card can be replaced relatively cheaply. hope this helps.

If you are in an area, that is busy it could very well be Interference.
However, in some of the older laptops, many were shipped, with loose Airport Extreme Cards, Not seated Properly, and Loose antenna Connections.

If you have Apple Care take advantage of it, you payed good money for it.
