ya I wanna do that for my halloween party but I dont know how. And after I make it smoke will people still be able to drink it

Do NOT put dry ice in the bowl, dry ice is not safe for consumption. If you want to put your guests in the hospital for acid type burns then go ahead. You can use a fog machine behind the punch bowl. Much safer. I don't know why people are telling you to put it in the punch...here go read this. You cna put dry ice into the punch and it will "smoke" or make a fog over the edges of the punch bowl. The punch will be perfectly safe to drink as long as no one gets any bits of the dry in in their cups. To prevent that, you can put the dry ice in cheesecloth and tie it shut, put it in the punch. As the fog effect goes away, put more dry ice in.

Dry ice does it---you can get it at the grocery store. I'm not sure of the ability to drink punch with dry ice--better check with them when you buy it!

You CAN use dry ice in punch and it will be safe to drink. Just do like one of the previous posters said and make sure no one gets it in their cup. (the temp of it is so cold it can burn your skin on contact, but is is NOT acid)

Get a piece of dry ice from your ice-cream vendor.
Don't handle it with your fingers, use tongs or heavy gloves.
It's only carbon dioxide, so it's safe to drink the punch.

add some dry ice, make sure you dont put to much or u will freeze ur punch!! and possibly break the bowl if its glass!!
USE GLOVES DO NOT USE IT ON BARE SKIN IT IS SO COLD THAT IT WILL "BURN"/"FROSTBITE" YOUR SKIN SO BADLY !!!!!!!!!!! MAKE SURE NO ONE EATS IT OR TOUCHES IT!!!

you can buy dry ice but i don't know how it works in drinks
