I got a Job as an engineer but my job sucks. All I do is sit at a desk for 8 hours. I am pretty tired of it and I am already looking for another job. Is it wise to do this or should I stick around and see if my job changes.

Find the new job first, then quit your present one. I'd say two months is long enough to have a "feel" for your job, and to know if you like it, and if it's right for you. Since that's clearly not the case, I'd say it's time for a change.

i quit a job after a month. it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. at least make sure you have another one lined up. It's not bad to quit after a short period of time, i think; let's just say you are looking for you 'calling'
