B
Occasionally, I do not make the best choices as far as money goes. But, I save as much as I can JUST IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS and for my early retirement I want to have( by 30 would be great) lol

I like to plan my purchases. I avoid impulse buying. I always pay more than the minimum balances on my credit card payments. I get paid daily and before I leave work, I always put the majority of my daily earnings in the bank. I work at a grocery store that has a bank inside. I like to budget my money and forecast my obligations out. I always place some money aside to build up my cash reserves for emergencies. I take out of my checkbook balance and call it my reserve fund. I balance my checkbook at least once a week. The majority of my savings is in an online bank for two reasons. (1) higher interest and (2) I can not just drive down the street and take out 20 or 40 dollars and go blow it. I do have an account in a local bank with a couple of hundred in it if I really need it. I do not use ATM or debit cards. So my access is a little restricted but livable. Guess what, I am paying my bills and not feeding them while saving money all at the same time.

I spend only on things that give me value the is better than other things that give value. I need a truck but I bought what I wanted 10 years ago and will make it last another few years until it isn't able to do what I need it to do.
I will spend on a vacation but it is camping and fishing not flying and staying in hotels most of the time.
I don't just spend to be spending and I put 25K a year away for retirement because I am near the end of my saving years.
I will not pay interest over 6.5% and only pay that because I can make more investing than paying it off.
I would do almost any thing before throwing away money on high interest rates. When mortgage rates were over 10 I cut my budget to the bone to pay it down even taking a roommate. I still have the roommate 21 years later. I would live alone even if it cost more but he drives the boat and can back up a trailer.

You are much better saving for a rainy day as youwon;t always be making money, there will be time when you don't, either by lay off, work injury or something that you won' get paid for awhile, so save it up and when something happens you won't be like most other people and have nothing left. that's what's called a rainy day. remember you can't buy everything in the world so limit yourself to your needs and at times when you can do it some extras.

I am struggling to make ends meet, which means whatever money I have I spend it wisely. I count every penny. I wish I could eat out at least twice a month.

Give me the money and I will be very good with spending it.

Tbh... I'm comfortable... but I don't splash it out. You need to save and be choosy on how you spend... shopping for bargains if you need something.... not just splashing out top-price cause you get a Selfridges bag to carry it out the store.
