Cl-
The negative should be super script. Cl is the symbol for chlorine. If it is in an ionic compound (like NaCl) it is in the form of chloride as it has taken 1 electron from the sodium to have a stable octet. It is now a negative ion and is written with a negative charge.

Calcium is Ca, not Cl. The chemical symbol for chlorine is Cl. Chloride is an ion. When simply representing the chloride ion it's Cl^-1 or just Cl^-.

RE:
What is the chemical Symbol for Chloride?
Im looking for whatever Chloride is. Like Hydrogen is (H) and Oxygen is (O), but what is chloride? I know sodium Chloride is NaCl, but what is Chloride on it's own? It's not Cl, that is calcium...what is it???

I would agree with tiggeronvrb in that the symbol is Cl-
with the - sign superscripted. Several others told you
that Ca is calcium, which is correct.
But neutral chlorine is Cl (each atom has 17 protons and 17
electrons) but a chloride ion has one extra electron to make
its outer shell of electrons full. Thus it still has 17 protons
in the nucleus (so it's still chlorine) but it has 18 electrons
now, giving it a net charge of -1. That makes it an ion
rather than an atom and we call it a chloride ion.
Hope this helps.

The element name is chlorine, not chloride. A chloride is a chemical compound that include chlorine in its makeup.
Chlorine is Cl. Calcium is Ca.
