All I can say is I'm so sorry for you- it's terrible to hear your parents arguing, especially if they get violent. Could you go stay with a friend or relative for the weekend to let it all cool down? Then maybe you can talk to your mom and tell her how upset the fighting makes you and if they absolutely need to fight, could they please do it a little more quietly and in their room. Man, it just sucks that parents do this stuff to their kids. I'm a 53 yr old grandma and in my house I don't even like people to raise their voices- 2 daughters and 2 grandkids live with me. It's just not healthy for kids to hear yelling and fighting from the adults they love and trust to take care of them. Good luck, sweetie.

I take it that they stopped fighting. But if they didn't, then yes you should call the police. If they did, then you should hook up with your mom in the morning and talk with her. Try to get her to see a councilor and maybe by this BOTH of your parents will get into this. They should NEVER raise their hands to each other. But you did the right thing by shouting out at them. I wish you the very best, as NO girl or boy should be subject to going through this.

I'm so sorry, no child should ever have to live with that!! My parents fought a lot when I was growing up, luckily there was no physical violence but it is not easy to the fighting. Is there anyplace you can go, a friends or relatives, any kind of safe haven when they are fighting?? Is this some thing that only happens occasionally or is it pretty regular?? If you need to talk with someone, to vent or whatever, please email me, I'll help you anyway I possibly can.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. My parents fought all the time when I was your age and it sucked. The only thing you can do is stay out of it, with the exception if there's physical abuse going on. In that case, you need to call the cops. Hang in there. It will eventually blow over. Adults can act like idiots some times.

I feel for you. I have been in that situation. If violence is involved you should call the police. It is a good way to get a point across to them that you are not willing to put up with it. My heart breaks for you. I wish you the best of luck.

Ohh I'm so sorry! Wow you're really brave...most people would run or hide =/. You shouldn't have to deal with their problems...try to stay at a friends for the weekend, and if that doesn't work stay out of your house as much as possible. I don't think there's much you can do =/
