It def. depends on the person. Pumpkin carving is fun but not soo challenging. Bobbing for apples on the other hand is challenging but gross. Everybodys spit is in the water and people have bit marks in the apples. I think both are funn but it depends on the person you are....

Pumpkin carving for sure. We used to tie a string to an apple stem and tie them from the ceiling. Then try to eat them without using your hands. Less mess then bobbing.
