I get it... now one can't casually compare Perot or Nader to Paul. Good ammo! Thanks! It was one thing I actually was a little miffed about when people talked about it.

Ross Perot never held any kind of political office.

Ralph Nader worked for the Labor Department in the 1960's as an advisor to the Assistant Secretary.

On a personal note, Nader is the only public figure of significance I have ever met in the economy class section of a plane. He sat across the aisle from me on a flight from Washington D.C. to Chicago. He was approachable and had an amazing sense of humor.

Don't know if that's a recommendation for political office or not, but he certainly was exactly who seems to be.

No, neither one held a political office. Why should it matter? Both would be more competent than the administration that we have now.
