The weather here in Indiana falls :o) in the range of 60s and 70s and I think those are perfect temperatures, plus, like you, the colors of the leaves on the trees are beautiful, and the evening air is crisp and clean smelling. It is a great season! :o)

I like it for the colors. But, I also like it because I can wear long pants and only a few layers. It lets me wear clothing that I love and can't wear in the hot, hot springs and summers here. I get to dress funky and not sweat the moment I step outside.
I like the sunsets particularly in fall as well. Plus, the smell of decomposing leaves has always made me feel content. It's like being in a forest all the time.

I loooove halloween. And I like the other harvests too... But I also like the pumpkins and trees and festivals. And the nice weather. It's a relief from summer.

I love all of the neutrals.
The weather is great, not too hot, but not too cold.
The trees are magnificent! Lovely colors!
And the clothing, I've always liked fall clothes....pretty colors and shows a little skin, but not summer-ish. lol

It's hard to define it really. I agree with all the answers you've gotten but there's just something in the air at that time that I can't describe. There's nothing like it.

I love going to the orchard and picking apples. Getting some fresh cider and hay rides are fun . Going to haunted houses. Being able to bake cookies without sweating to death.
