I'd say it's more the end of the beginning of the end of the Republic... and we're moving into the beginning of the middle of the end of the republic.
It will soon be the end of the end as things like this usually increase in speed exponentially.

Republic of what.

The United States of America has just begun to fight.
What the heck you think we have been doing.....training training and more training. We will fight to the last man woman and child. If America ever does fall it will be a sad day for the entire world. We have given more to the world in 230 odd years than countries that have been here for thousands. You were eating sand before and will be eating and sleeping in sand after wards. Because I cannot imagine what you will develop what disease you will cure, what obstacle you will overcome.

Yes.

When the rightcolumn spews so much venomous hate towards the left.
When our freedoms are being stripped in the name of "freedom".
When our privacy is invaded by our own government, once again.. in the name of "freedom".
When we no longer refer to ourselves as Americans first but Liberals and Conservatives.

Face up to it. No matter how many Iraqi kids we kill or how many of our young heroes die. Our American way of life is gone.

We're rapidly becoming the fascist country that other nations have accused us as being for the last several decades.

Who's fault is it....it doesn't matter at this point does it.

No. The beginning of the end was in 1947, when Nazi Sympathizers, abetted by the Religious Right, took control of Congress in what became known as the "McCarthy Era."

With the PATRIOT act, and other changes in the law that legalize a military coup by the President, and the weakening of the powers of both Congress and the Courts to serve as checks and balances, I'd say we're pretty close to the actual end.

Actually, I feel we are about halfway through the collapse. I expect to see a World Emperor in my lifetime, and am trying to teach my children how to survive and prosper in such times, while, hopefully, protecting the flame of freedom till it is time to build the blaze again.

Sure is the beginning of the end, unless we fight back.
I do mean fight back.
I have learned humans don't respond to others who throw up peace signs and talk nicely. They only respond to actions.

Let me correct some numb nuts here.
Its not just the Reps fault its both Dems and Reps fault.
Reps(fascist) Dems(communist). Reps(so zealous they don't even know God or Jesus) Dems(are pagan idol worshipers)

The PNAC's "American Century" is destined for the same quick and ignominious ending as their fascist cousin the "Thousand Year Reich."

No, this is just the beginning of an uprising, a reckoning day, if you will, the Democrats have shown too much hatred for the President, and it's this kind of hatred, that civil wars are born from.
