My ankles crack all the time and it is loud. People have told me it has something to do with the tendon but I don't know. Also my left ankle gives out sometimes like if I have been hiking or doing something challenging. I can't even jump off of a swing anymore if i am hanging out at my cousin's house.

Tendinitis usually hurts your joints until you are warmed up and active and then they don't hurt until you stop the exercise and cool down and then they hurt again.

What you are describing sounds like ligament problems since it feels like it gives out.

By the way don't jump off of the swing any more.

I'd say its mucle fatigue. The muscles in your ankles obviously work all the time because you are walking and doing physical activity on them all the time, take your non-writting hand and keep opening and closing it and getting faster whilst you do it. What do you realise? compaire it to your ankle.

I have tendonitis and it feels like stinging in my hands. Like when your nose and ears sting in cold weather.

You should see your doctor. It maybe tendinitis or arthritis etc. Only your doctor can determine which.
