Watch what you are wearing before the itching happens , you may need to change the type or style of clothing you are wearing. maybe a differant size . I find that on humid days my "neither reagions" get itchy when I undress , I found that a looser pants seem to help some. maybe a simular situation is happining here.
Naturally the neked body has no restrictions and plenty of free air all over.

It is a sign of infection after contacts. It is normally not dry in summer time. When infection happens, you cn not see it.
Nipples normally is well protected by your lymphatic system. Bacteria, fungi can make it really itchy.
Apply some grapeseed oil or corn oil on the nipple 2 times a day. phyto oils are anti bacterial and anti fungal. You should see imporvement soon. If you want, you can add a few drops of lavender (essential oil) into the grapeseed oil. The mix is -
5 drops lavender into 10ml of oil (to become 2.5%).

you bra may be irritating them causing them to itch. lace or and old cotton bra may cause this. try this: whenever you are in the shower moisturize with moisturizing soap. once you are out of the shower and dried off. rub with lotion [not too much lotion just a little bit so it can be rubbed all the way in easier. that night when you go to bed dont wear a bra just give them rest and let them breathe. in the morning be sure to wear a satiny wireless bra [because satin is smooth and doesnt irritate] try to wash each bra you wear at least once a week. sweating may be causing the itch.
Best of luck!

Your bra might be too tight. My breasts are always a bit itchy when I take my bra off, but it goes away after about a minute. You should let your nipples breathe. XD

Like the others said, they could be dry or "smothered" lol. I don't know what else it could be. That's happened to me too, not just at night though. It's very aggravating; especially in public! lol
