Can i change my guitar pickup without pulling its strings out?

Uhhh....done it a few times & I had to remove the strings! It's not brain surgery but I always just put on a new set of strings after changing a pickup!! Good luck!!

You can, by loosening your strings to the extent of being able to work on your pickups under them. But that would be useless. Take out all the strings first, you'll just make it harder

You'll want to do a full set up if you change PUPs. So yea, change your strings.
