On Final Fantasy XII, why can't I cure a party member with Echo Herbs... that's whay they're for right?

Ok I wrote that wrong, I meant I can't cure Fran with echo herbs and she has silence.. I even got Vox, and it misses every time no matter how many times I try

Nevermind, I equipped Nethecite and it comes with silence.. sorry to waste your time.

A lot of people including me had that nechicite problem.

Echo Herbs are to cure silence, not to cure in general. Potions, Hi-potions, X-potions, etc., are used to replenish HP, as well as the different Cure spells.
