finish my basement?
how much woudl it cost to redo my basement though its only 13 by 25 how much woudl it cost products etc

you really need to calculate this one on your own. my basement is a bit larger and we are at around 8,000 currently. just the family room and the bathroom are done and i did *all* the work myself. probably 12,000 when done and that doesn't include the furniture.

With all due respect you'll get opinions here, moreso than hard facts.
Without knowing at all; the context of your basement; the design you have in mind; the current condition of the area; your budget; the suggestions could be many, and costs would depend totally on more detail from you...as well as location and access to materials etc.
It would certainly help to know those details to even give you a ballpark figure.
It could be assumed but variables can't be determined here, now, just from your Q.

That depends on a lot of factors. If you are doing it yourself and understand construction and framing. Electrical, maybe plumbing. Hanging sheet rock and doing the spackle work. Painting and carpet work. You'll be OK. If not. You are gonna pay for a good job and why not? It is your home. You want it done quick and cheap or right?
