because they are like apples and oranges ( the powers)

[ 3x^2-5x+3] + [-2x^2+6] = x^2-5x+9

(x^2-5x+9) + (x^2-x-1) = 2x^2-6x+8

[6x^2+3x+5 ]- [3x^2+2x-5] = 3x^2-x+10

Add and subtract like terms.

3x^2 -5x +3
-2x^2 +6
(+) +x2-x -1
================
x^2 -4x +8

4x^2 +6x +3
+ 2x^2 -3x +2
============
6x^2 +3x +5
- (3x^2 +2x -5)
============
3x^2+x

Algebraically add like terms:
3x² - 5x + 3
-2x² + 6
x² - x - 1
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
2x² - 6x + 8
This can be simplified by factorying out 2:
2(x² - 3x + 4)

------------------------------------------------------------
First add (2x² - 3x + 2) and (4x² + 6x + 3):
2x² - 3x + 2
4x² + 6x + 3
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
6x² + 3x + 5

Now subtract (3x² + 2x -5) from (6x² + 3x + 5), remember when you subtract, change all the signs of the subtrahend and add:
6x² + 3x + 5
-3x² - 2x + 5
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
3x² + x + 10

P.S. Looks like we all got different answers. Good luck in picking out the correct ones!

= (x^2 - x - 1) + ([3x^2 - 5x + 3] + [- 2x^2 + 6])
= (x^2 - x - 1) + (3x^2 - 5x + 3 - 2x^2 + 6)
= x^2 - x - 1 + x^2 - 5x + 9
= 2x^2 - 6x + 8

= ([2x^2 - 3x + 2] + [4x^2 + 6x + 3]) - (3x^2 + 2x - 5)
= (2x^2 - 3x + 2 + 4x^2 + 6x + 3) - (3x^2 + 2x - 5)
= 6x^2 + 3x + 5 - 3x^2 - 2x + 5
= 3x^2 + x + 10

1. 3x^2-5x+3 +( -2x^2+6)
= x^2-5x+9 + (x2-x-1)
=2x^2-6x+8

2. 2x^2-3x+2 +(4x^2+6x+3)
=6x^2+3x+5 - (3x^2+2x-5)
=3x^2+x+10

A.[(3x^2-5x+3)+(-2x^2+6)]+(x^2-x-1) = ?
(5x^2-x-3)+(x^2-x-1) = ?; the answer is 6x^2-2x-4...

B. [(2x^2-3x+2)+(4x^2+6x+3)]-(3x^2+2x-5) = ?
(6x^2+3x+5)-(3x^2+2x-5) = ?; the answer is 3x^2+x+10

3x^2 + (-2x^2) = x^2

(-5x) + (0x) = -5x

3 + 6 = 9

so sum is x^2 -5x + 9

add another x^2 and another -x and another -1

and you get 2x^2 - 6x +8

There is the first half

It's meta-physical man!!!! The powers aren't changing because the universe hasn't become "One with itself" Maybe a shift in the time continuum will help you out. Good Luck!
