Certainly answer number one offers what can be equated to LAW with regard to satisfaction in any task. PREP...on every level, before a process begins.
Without knowing at all the size of your project; You might ask when purchasing, or at least before mixing; the time frame in which the resin can be worked "BEFORE" it 'kicks off"...and as importantly, get advice on application methods for the specific mix you intend to; or are advised to use. The type or substance of the catalyst will determine set time.
The issue in application is how rapidly you might have to apply the coating.
I'm not trying to offend your intelligence; or assume you haven't done your homework; just adding some experienced two cents.

Tape a sheet of plastic onto the slab. Make a seal around the edges wait a few days. If there is moisture under the plastic it means that moisture will come through the slab and flake the paint off.

Yes...
Be sure to etch the concrete with acid, but be carefull.
Dont get in the eyes or on the skin.
Any hardware store, home Depot etc. can help you with what kind to use.
This prevents the epoxy from lifting away from the concrete.
Also have good ventilation.
And last....Be ready to work fast...
I see someone gave it as a bad answer...Dont etch it, and see what you get in a couple/Few years..Been there. done that mistake....
