Hello!

Your baby is experiencing seperation anxiety. This is when your baby realizes that the two of you are not the same person and she now knows that you can be in one place and she is in the other! This is scary for babies because since before she was born, it's always been you and her! She will eventually out grow this.

I just posted this link for another mom. It's about getting your baby to learn to sleep on her own. Check it out. This is the same advice we give our mom in our pediatric clinic.

Good luck!

Getting a baby adjusted to there own beds can be difficult. Try slowly by staying in her room with her. This will let her know u are there but also get her used to her new room. Spending time in the room not just when she is sleeping will also get her used to the enviroment. Make it a happy place for her to be by doing normal activitys in the room.

Good luck! =)

It could be having some behavioural problem, so try to be very patient, and let the baby know that it is ok for you to leave the room , by keeping the sourounding enjoyable and interesting for the baby, since they are curious they will want to observe the soroundings and not you

Put her in bed and let her cry herself to sleep. There have been multiple articles posted in magazines about attachments with babies. As hard as it is to do to let your little one cry it has to be done. After a little while your baby will figure out that she needs to sleep alone. You have to be the stronger person. Be Strong!

It's normal.
She wants things her way, and up to now,
she's been getting them.
All parents go through this battle.
Hang in there. If you hang tough for
a few nights, you CAN win.
