Personally I think they are just too lazy too use it, even though the check spelling button is just above the message box.
It takes what? a few seconds to push the button?
Talk about lazy a$$ people.

I use it every time. Now there are occasions where I deliberately misspell words..to show an accent/character or illustrate a point. I have a feeling however..the number is low.
