I think it's pointless for the most part... a holiday for mushy love notes and candy... pretty stupid if you ask me.

I totally agree with you! It's a commercial holiday where the flower, candy and card shops benefit tremendously. Shouldn't love be celebrated all year around?
In honor of Valentine's Day, I wear all black the whole week. My friends get a kick out of it. Just my way of boycotting the day.

I actually like the history of Valentine's day. Not the Hallmarkiness of the day though.

I have hated Valentine's Day for as long as I can remember. It's such an obnoxious holiday. A guy I once dated didn't think I was serious when I said that and sent me a card, flowers, etc...big mistake.

I hate it, Valentine's day is there to remind all us lonely people that we are ALONE!

yes because the day after is the day i start to ask the ladies out again,
its the worst when you meet like the day before, odd gift scenarios, horrible stuff

i hate it with a burning passion!! everyone's all happy and in love and that's all you see! where the hell are all the depressed bitter people!? we can form a club and just rant and ***** about how much we hate this lousy holiday!
