You and the Yes dude with the two eighth notes has it right!
I would also like to see some of these lesser known 70's progressive rock bands make it in there as well;
Gentle Giant
Camel
Super Sister
Gong
PFM
Focus
Soft Machine
Egg
Caravan
And too many more to mention here, but I doubt we'll ever see that day. Unless someone starts a 'Progressive Rock Hall of Fame'. Now that would be nice!

Prog has long been overlooked by the R&R Hall of Fame. The only real Prog band (that I can think of) that made to teh R&R Hall of Fame is Pink Floyd.

I'll go with these.

Yes
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
Jethro Tull
and King Crimson

By the way Sandra, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and ZZ Top are not prog...but they are all in the R&R Hall of Fame.

They are all amazing, but i think Rush should be in the R&R hall of fame, and i think they will be the first in there.

Rush.....Absolutely
Yes.....100%
I consider Purple to be more of a Metal than a Prog group but
Hells Yeah....All 3 richly deserve to be in the R&R HOF.

I have no problem with any of them.

Purple and Yes were more influential. I'd put in ELP before Rush, even as Rush is my favorite band. Genesis deserves a spot also.
