I thought the sixties were over...We has human beings will always be in some sort of opposition. It is human nature. It is not human nature to run about with peace signs on our faces trying to shove daisys into machine guns.

There is a cure but who will take it? The cure is Bhakti Yoga and the process is to chant the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion. First we have to understand that we are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. We have to love Him first or our love will fall short for others.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. We can start with our self and then one person at a time will change.

Different races, different culture, different colors makes us hard to love one another. This will forever be a wishful thinking. Many generations have passed but still up to this writing mankind had not learn to love one another. Human nature that is -- we can never expect the love you expect to be because of individual differences.

Secular, fair, and accountable governments may reduce the prevalence of violence by allowing for individual preferences (reduces risk of rebellions).

But I don't think you can change all violence without altering the human genome. Violence is the one constant of our species, irrespective of time and place.
