NO! You should definitley NOT break the dress code even though other employees are! They are not respecting their job or boss. Your boss avoided the question because he knew that you knew the answer! Of course you should\nt risk your job to look better!

Don't break the dress code. You're giving your boss a reason to reprimand you, which can lead to losing your job. You could fight it, because everyone else has broken the dress code, but it probably wouldn't be worth it. Its easier to play by the rules. Good Luck!

Wear dark wash jeans or slightly casual chinos unless you go out to meet clients for the company.
Don't make a big deal out it - esp. if the boss/manager wears jeans too.

I think you should wait a while longer befoer estartign to wear jeans. amybe, if you have worked at the store for a certian amount ot time, the manager will let you wear jeans.

i dont want to get you in trouble now but i think it would be ok if you tried to wear jeans on like friday. see how you boss reacts. if he doesnt, wear them,if he does, dont.
