Ok, I have a genetic disorder called LOCAH, it causes a woman to have irregular periods. For 15 years I have had little to none (periods). I had invitro this past october (mis-carried baby) and since then I have had pretty regular periods. This is the problem: I had a weight loss surgery July 30th and since then my periods have been every 2 weeks and very brown and string like clots. I called my family physician and she said it might just be a symptom of my new diet and keep track of the periods on the calender, but that doesn't explain the string like clots or brown coloration. Can someone out there shed light on what the problem could be???? PLEASE!!!!!!

I think your uterus has been tipped all of these years. When it's tipped just a little backwards, it can collect all sorts of stuff, and of course baby can't grow in there.

There is an alternative medicine lady I read about who does a "uterine massage." it's helped lots of people with menstrual and fertility issues. I don't know if you can find the lady on the web, but it would be worth it.

She can feel just by massaging near your bladder, how your uterus is positioned. She works on it until it's in the right position, and all sorts of things get much better. The uterus emptys out all kinds of stuff a normal uterus would have expelled already, and health is restored.

I know brown means that the blood is old. This may be because you haven't had any periods, all of the blood is coming out at once. I don't know how to explain the clots though. I'm pretty sure that small clots are normal.

you don't need a diet...that explanation: best appetite suppressant ever...

joking aside...honestly i'd ask an oby/gyn about that, maybe he/she could help you better than a general practicioner.

hope that helps

*cheers*
