Ok in your opinions and experinces whats better? Ford chevy dodge honda or toyota?

I tend to think that imports aren't as good as domestics but it really comes down to how a person treats the car. I've known people that refuse to fix problems with their cars and just keep driving them till they stop working and then swear the car is a piece of junk. Most of my family buys domestics and have had zero problems.

OOOOHHHH, tough one...serious. Honda and Toyota are practically neck and neck, then Ford, then Chevrolet, then Dodge. It also depends on the vehicle. Honda and Toyota lead the pack with family cars, compact cars, car-based sport utility vehicles, minivans, and some other "niche" vehicles. Ford is the king with heavy-duty pickup trucks and large sport utility vehicles. Chevrolet and Dodge make a few good models, but don't lead their class anywhere, really.

"Better" is too arbitrary a concept for comparing vehicles. When we think "Better" we ought to be create a standard for better based on moral and ethical considerations. The ME (Morality Ethics) scale ought to reflect the following:

* Fuel economy
* Purchasing a car to help with your flagging self image
* Greenness (output of pollutants)
* Appropriate size
* Doing regular maintenance on your vehicle
* Safety, (not yours, everyone else's).

Owners of Tahoe, Suburban, Expedition, Yukon, Denali, Armada, Escalade and Humvees would score a zero on the Morality and Ethics scale, unless they had ten kids, or worked for an orphanage. They ought to do eight hours of community service every week just to make up for the damage they're doing to the environment. They ought to have to write apology letters every day to the children of the future.

The greener the vehicles, the better they are. We need to stop thinking that one brand is better. That's so wrong.

They also have gratly improved their quality, for which they just recently beat Nissan and is on par with Toyota and is ranked 10th in the world in quality. They have also earned the most quality awards than any car manufacturer in the world.

They add lots of technology that others like Chevy, Dodge, Honda, and Toyota don't offer like power fold 3rd row seats, Ford Sync, trip computers, roll stability control, advanced track, and maybe some of the best AWD there is in SUVs and cars.

They have improved their safety a lot, for example the Taurus X was rated the safest 7 passenger crossover in America, the Taurus was rated the safest full sized sedan in America, the Explorer had the most safety features in its class, the Edge recieved the top safety pick in crossovers, and more.

They also make kick-*** trucks like that have been the best selling trucks in America for more than 30 years straight. The F-150 and Super Duty have best in class towing capacity, the F-150 was rated the most dependably truck in its class, the Super Duty was rated the truck with the highest quality in its class, and are probably the best trucks to go off road with.

Last, but not least, the Mustang. It was rated the sportiest sports car in America along with the best quality in its class, and it currently is the most popular all around car in the world.

Sorry I typed a lot, but keep in mind that Ford has been greatly improving their vehicles over time to keep up with the competitors. I would say Ford has to be the best domestic made car manufacturer out there.

They all have their good and their bad. Anyone who says HONDA as a blanket statement hasn't ever dealt with their timing belts, their CV joints, their chronic a/c problems, etc. Certain Fords etc. are good.....some of them are terrible. Same with every manufacturer. I would never buy a foreign car for myself, but my wife has one.
