GAs will evaporate, put a fan on the area, then if there is any residue, scrub it with a degreaser or even dishwashing liquid and it'll clean the spot left from the gas.

RE:
how do you clean up spilled gas on concrete?
I can home from work and found that my motorcycle dumped a two foot circle of gas onto my garage floor. It soaked in and I put some kitty litter on it to obsorbe any excess but what now?? does it smell like gas forever now?? or is it time to treat the stain and epoxy coat the floor??

The kitty litter probably did the job for the most part, and if left there it will continue to wick the gasoline from the concrete. The rest will dissipate with time through evaporation. It would be a good idea to refrain from smoking in there for a few days (weeks) though. If you are still concerned about removing the remainder of it, a pressure washer or steam cleaner will help, but keep the power unit at the far end of the hose and away from the gasoline.

Husband just spilled gas in the garage floor. Cat litter seems to have worked. My whole house smelled like gas. We opened some windows the garage doors and put cat litter on it. We will just sweep up the litter in a while and hopefully that does the trick. I guess I'm saying use cat litter.

I use a concentrated detergent that I get at Wal Mart called purple power. I get it in the automotive dept. After the kitty litter you could use this product. It will quit smelling after a while and is not a fire issue once it has dried. A good sealer or floor coating would make a nice floor and prevent this in the future. Open the doors and let it air out the smell will go away.

I’m sorry that happened to you! When spills happen on my garage floor, I always try to have a spill absorbent ready. Those things are great because they suck up all the liquid and smell. I keep a bag of SpillFix in my garage—just in case.

The best thing to do is to use speedy dry, but if you don't have that use the kitty litter but you need to grind it into the concrete and then sweep it away and then hose it off.
