How ridiculous is this? It just goes to show the mindset of American's double standard today.

The world will be a scary place if America actually have enough power to enforce favorable laws and ruling for its own people but denied non-US citizens of the same rights.

How about reparations for Slavery, Agent Orange, Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the Native Americans, and countless of civilians death led by US led invasion?

People in other part of the world feel the same loss when their parent died too. No wonder people hates America. Americans only think for themselve and doesn't give a **** about the world and then preach democracy and freedom.

The problem with this is that a US court really does not have jurisdiction over any Iranian assets outside the United States. Since Iran essentially has no assets within the United States, this ruling is pointless.

You're absolutely right, it is ridiculous. The award should have been much higher. By supporting the murder of US citizens the government of Iran should assume a much larger degree of responsibility. Unfortunately the monetary damages are meager. And almost impossible to collect. I fully support your view that the award is ridiculous and should be at least tripled! Thanks for pointing that out!
