Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Look the Jews have been in Europe for more than a thousand years and they still haven't fully fit Europeans values of "intergrating". Especially in these troubled times Intergration will be a sloooooooooooooooooooooow process

No they don't assimilate. The Muslims bring their culture, lifestyle and religion with them.
