I'm not trying to get section 8, I'm writinfg a story. I'm buying my own house already.

section 8 is based on total income. This is a toughie for I do not know the rules of someone with land and section 8. Untill proven otherwise I would say no.

You're probably not going to get very nice answers. If you own land, but are on section 8 housing, you are using us taxpayers to pay your way, and I'm sorry but that is fraud! If you own land that you can sell to live off that money, you best be selling it. Too many people think they are entitled, well you can work another job to help supplement your income. You have to decide to be a cheat or not.

If you have a farm, do you think all the other taxpayers of America should contribute taxes to buy you breakfast?

Get a spine!

If you have no money, sell the property. If you have some money, why should you get charity?

Think about it, if you steal from the church collection plate, you are not really stealing from the church, rather you are stealing from the poor person that money would have gone to...
