A secret switch. Like one of those used on alarm systems for out side windows. Magnetic Reed switch the switch closes with a magnet near and just remove the magnet and a essential wire for starting and running is made an open circuit. Hidden under the ash tray or on the instrument cluster some where you can place a magnet. This is in addition to the cars security system. You still get the broken window but there the car sits untill you want it to start... Hook a pedal club on if you want. But if your keys get lost?

The "best" anti-theft weapon is a S & W .357. Of course, since it is impractical to sit up 24/7 with your gun in your hand, you may want to invest in a Lojack system; at least, that way, when the vehicle is boosted, you stand a chance of recovering it.

Any "anti-theft" system is primarily designed to discourage amateurs. The Club is fairly effective, but, again, only against amateurs. You may also want to invest in an electrical cut-off switch mounted somewhere under the dash. However, if a pro wants your car, it's history. Good luck!
