I'm doing a timeline project and i need six major world events. They can be from 1900-today. The date, and what happend would be great. thanks! (just put whatever ones you can think of)

January 30,1933 Adolf Hitler becomres Chancellor of Germany
December 7,1941- The Japanese bombs Pearl Harbor
August 6, 1945 Atomic bomb is dropped on Hiroshima and August 9, 1945 Atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki
July 20,1969 Neil armstrong first walks on the moon.

well- there are TONS of events!
examples:

9/1/1939- the second world war has began. millions and millions of people were killed. changed the world!

11/6/1989- the berlin wall falls down, allowing Germany to be finally united.

8/6/1945- the usa dropped an atomic bomb over Hiroshima.
OR 8/9/1945- over Nagasaki.

5/14/1948- Israel declares its infipendence.

9/11/2001- i really don't need to remind you of what happened that day, do i?

this is one of the easiest assignments i have heard of - dont you want to know whats happened in your ancestors life to shape where you are today?

think wars - think civil rights - think berlin wall - ( thats the only one ill actually give up )
