Great Idea (for most) - though I'm sure some of us would rather remain VIRTUAL philosophers in REAL life. :-)

Of course, I do. You can't get these kind of conversations with average joes when you walk around the neighborhood or in daily conversations. Plus, I'd like to meet Enki because he asks the most thought-provoking questions.

Check out www.meetup.com, thats the entire purpose of that website!! IYou can join a specific state or city, pick a forum (i.e. logic, existentialism, philos in general) and then they host meetup events and everyone can come. The best is that the members choose locations, times, etc.

Its a noble attempt to attain philosophical unity. But I doubt its progressiveness.

THAt would rock...but it is not likely.It would'nt be fair to the other categories...even though I do believe that this is the best category.And people rarely use bad words,or say innapropiate things.SO this category rarely has problems...just a bunch of innocent philosphers.SO I think we SHOULD be rewarded..haha. =)

that would be fun! but i doubt if Yahoo would do it, due to showing favoritism over other categories and also the legal technicalities, but an individual sure could!
