How to use IBAN..?

I have ben given account details into which I need to pay funds. Apparently I can only do this online, but for some reason I am unable to do so.
How do I go about this?

Ring your bank and ask them which field you need to enter the data into.
IBAN's are mainly for the benefit of international payments and you may be better off just using the account number and sort code if purely within the UK
