I honestly don't see what the big deal is. No one is going to be able to see her underwear in an airplane seat. Your sitting side by side and have the seat in front of you. The only way you can see her underwear is if you crawl up and look between her legs. By the way, Southwest Airlines used to have the stewardess's wear hot pants in the 70's. I think the lady was just jealous of her and said something about it. I would rather sit next to her than some fat guy who stinks or a crying baby any day.

Having seen the person in question wearing the same outfit she was removed for wearing, I have to say that someone overstepped bounds. There is, as far as I know, no written dress-code on that airline. The airline is opening itself up to a lawsuit, and I hope she does, and wins. If she had been openly baring herself in any way, then I could see some reaction, but NOT for what SHE was wearing. Will breastfeeding mothers be next?

i will see this from 3 diverse techniques: As a mom, who has traveled with a small newborn on a plane before, i might have been somewhat insulted and further returned by a flight attendant suggesting I medicate my newborn to quiet him down. I additionally understand myself and that i might have been going doing each thing i could to quiet him down using fact i know how stressful a repeating newborn could be. As a flight attendant, i will see getting pissed off for myself and the different passengers on the plane while my activity is to guarantee anybody's convenience and protection. in spite of the undeniable fact that, there's a line and that i've got self assurance she crossed it. As a fellow passenger on the plane, i might have been especially annoyed by listening to a newborn repeat the comparable difficulty many times. I possibly might have stated some thing to a flight attendant. If i substitute into sitting interior attain, i might have stated some thing myself. i would not have been impolite yet i might have asked for some tries to rectify issues. I see the place the flight attendant substitute into coming from yet her procedures have been incorrect. i'm particular there is extra to the story than what's been instructed to us so far.

The whole thing was silly.
The airline stated they had no dress code.
Yes, she had a short skirt on but her shirt wasn't even showing cleavage.
In the '60's and '70's stewardesses wore skirts that were that short.
She looked like a typical college student with poor taste.
They had no right to do that to her.

I'd rather sit in front of or even next to a skimpily dressed woman than anywhere near a screaming child. But she works at Hooters, and I think that says it all. Even if I had the figure, I wouldn't wear skimy clothes because it gets cold on those planes!

She had to pull up the shirt , and lower the skirt , and I agree . I can not stand women who dress like hookers out in public , and people need to realize , Airlines hold the right to deny you a flight for any reason , just because you buy a ticket , it does not give you a Right to fly , flying is not a right , it is a privilege , if she sues , and a judge is stupid enough to rule in her favor , what will be next , eating in a restaurant without a shirt , and shoes ....come on , it is time to wake up , and everybody stop the cry baby act, just because the world does not conform to you , it is time places stand up , and quit powdering everybodys @SS ... they should have told her to beat feet , and kicked her off the plane , I would have ....
I saw her on the talk show this morning with that outfit , I saw the granny panties before she sat half way down

they have the right, I was getting ready to board a plane and there was this girl there with a short shirt and flip flops on and they made her change her skirt and put shoes on. Air lines do have some dress codes don't like it don't fly.

The whole thing is laughable. Does anyone remember the mod fashions of the 60's? Now those were some short skirts. It was probably some jealous fat heifer who complained anyway. I would not have had a problem sitting next to her. Better her than some fat guy or a crying baby like Nicole said.

I think it's sort of ridiculous, though I don't really know how revealing her attire was. There should be a level of courtesy when it comes to how one dresses, and they may have felt that she wasn't dressed as appropriate as she should have been. I don't believe it was just because her knees were showing though...

she was dressed like a nasty streetwalker (from the waist down). i am assuming you saw her flash her underwear to the entire country on the today show when she tried to sit down in her skirt. she wasn't made to cover up because her KNEES were showing, it's more like her GENITALS were showing. and at least she had on underwear on the show, who's to say she wasn't going commando on the plane???? i hope her making a complete fool out of herself on national television will negate any lawsuit she may try to bring against the airline. what a total MORON.
