I am at my wits end! We have tried EVERYTHING! Traps, extermination, poison, blocking and filling open holes and vents, those things that you plug in and they make a low noise that only mice can hear and they hate. NOTHING works.
I hate these creatures so much. And they are everywhere.
Well one is anyway. Don't know whether there are more or its the same one each time!
Anyways anyone got ANY help or tips at all how to get rid of them?
Thanks!

You've got to find out where he's living to get him. I'd bet he's living under your fridge.

The average frost free fridge, gives a small steady source of water and there is usually fiberglass or similar to use for nesting materials. Not to mention food scraps are close by.

Buy a few glue traps and concentrate them in the area you know the mouse is in. Persistance pays.

Get a cat that is about the most sure way to get rid of mice. But no declawed cats so he or she can grab the mouse with paws and claws.
Other than that get some of those sticky pads and put some peanut butter right in the center. Then put it where the mice normally travel and leave it.
Also after one mouse gets the poison the other mice will avoid it and I've heard pee on it so no other mice will eat it. Don't know how true that is but after you've seen where the poison has been eaten you need to move it and change it for fresh poison.
If you decide to use the sticky pads you might want to fake them out by putting down some peanut butter on plain paper a couple of days then put the peanut butter loaded sticky pads down in the same places.

I had the same problem. I was about ready to buy a cat. But someone told me to put a snickers on a mouse trap. I didn't try that but it gave me a few other ideas. Here's what I did:

The biggest problem I'd had with mouse traps was the mosue would eat whatever was on the trap and it wouldn't go off, so I tied a small piece of rubberband to the end of the mousetrap (the part where you put the cheese or whatever) and then covered it in peanut butter so the mouse would pull on it, setting off the trap.

But just incase this didnt work, I applied peanut butter to the side of the trap that holds the sling back, so if the mouse licks that the trap should 100% guaranteed go off.

Good luck and happy mouse hunting!

They usually build their nest near a good food source and forage at night , eating the first morsel they come across .Keep all foodstuff in containers, cupboards or in the fridge, You have plugged up all the holes and cracks . mice find their way through plumbing, ventilation ducts and from under floor boards. The problem with using poison is, if they do die and you can´t get to them , that´´s another problem the smell of dead mice. If you have out houses or storage hut´s , check inside that they are not building their nest in there and just popping in for dinner. Place bigger traps using cereal, chocolate, peanut butter , or we found that Spanish Chorizo sausage was the best for bait, or any other strong smelling sausage. Place traps at right angles to the wall with the treadle towards the wall. To avoid catching your fingers, use a pencil to move the set trap into position.. Try place traps and poison out of the way of family pets and warn children not to touch them

All of the above: keep food and water sources inaccessible; I have the best luck with sticky traps using the fake-out for a couple of days before the real thing goes in place. I don't like poison ... for the reasons mentioned above, so I put bits of exlax close to their choice entry point (the overhead garage door when we are coming and going) ... the dead mice still smell but they won't poison the neighbor's cat if he should catch them before they die.

...go to your fav. hardware store or Home Depot... get some "glue" traps... put a "dab" of peanut butter on the center of the "glue" trap and the rest will happen all by itself....
