Guys... do you like makeup on a girl?

im 12 and i dont wear a lot.. just eyeshadow and some mascara and lip gloss.. no eyeliner though do u think it makes girls look trashy

oo. i have been told im pretty (this may sound weird but a lot of my guy friends tell me im pretty, and my bff tell me tht too..

I an more interested in a woman's intelligence, compassion, reliability, and concern for others. I want her to be mature and doing something useful with her life and able to engage in interesting conversation with me.

All of that is way more important than make up.

Get to know guys around your age and develop good friendships. Learn what you like and don't like in boys. That will give you useful experience - far more important than make up - down the road when you are ready for dating and more in a few years.

i am a girl who is almost 13 but i dont wear make up. to tell you the truth, too much make up can be bad for the skin. and so you shouldnt put too much on. too much cremes can irritate your skin and then cause breakouts, blackheads, pimples, acne, etc especially if you are already in the time period where you will evenutally get them. lip gloss is in the purse of every girl at whatever age, maybe even babies, and mascara is a favorite as well. i think that instead of eyeshadow you should use eye liner. just be sure to not put too much on and it'll look very pretty on you. and dont wear mini skirts when you are wearing makeup because it makes SOME girls look like hookers. beware!

I only use concealer for making zits (if and when I get them) less noticeable. Then, to make my eyes stand out, I use a LITTLE of both mascara and eyeliner. That's all you need, really. Don't overdo it.

Guys really don't like a lot make-up, they like the natural look, so stick with that.

But considering you're twelve years old, I think you should hold off on the make-up for awhile, maybe a couple of years. Make-up on young girls it just doesn't look right.

well i don't wear a lot of make up because it will clog your pores if you wear too much. just for every-day casual stuff i just like a little eyeliner (not even all the way around the eye) and maybe some lip gloss and then some concealer to cover up blemishes if i need it

I have heard that a majority of guys prefer a girl to wear little makeup..maybe a little to extenuate their beauty, but not too much to the point where it makes them look like a clown.
Honestly, don't start wearing makeup yet..be 12 for a while.

I think mascara, sheer eyeshadow, lip gloss, blush-very little is fine. Your NATURAL eyeshadow should be one or two shades darker than your skin tone, CLEAR mascara to enhance lashes or dark brown because black can be too much on young skin, and lip gloss should only be clear or one shade darker than your natural lip color. As for blush, a violet/pink based for light skin, and golden bronze/pink/violet for medium and darker bronze/pink/orange-red/ for darker skin. Ask your mom to teach you how if you would like to. But i don't think you need any. Just smile or pinch your cheeks and that's your color!

Sounds like you answered you own question, we don't like sp much that it looks trashy, it should only enhance the natural beauty.Of course your only 12 so you shouldn't be wearing any yet, probably not until high school.

Don't your 12 you don't need makeup. It should be used to cover blemishes. Just don't worry about it i'm sure you'll do fine without it. It should be used by older people and it does make people look trashy. If you do end up using it don't overdue it.

Yes. Too much makeup makes a lady look more like a clown than anything else. Go light, and use what you have by nature. It's all that you'll ever have that's truly real.
